Your Visit
Before your first visit:
Whether you are coming to the office or meeting with Dr. Cherry by telemedicine, you will receive a texted/emailed link ahead of time. This link will allow you to sign consent forms and answer some background questions about your health and the specific issue you would like to address.
If you are doing a 15-minute telemedicine consultation, minimal information will be requested.
When logging in for your first full telemedicine appointment, please allow yourself an extra 10 minutes to fill out the questionnaires.
If you ever have trouble logging in for an appointment, please text us at (215) 422-3130 so we can troubleshoot.
Parking:
There is ample free parking.
Finding the office:
The Elkins Park office is at 7848 Old York Road, at the corner of Spring Street. The office is on the second floor, inside Elkins Park Family Medicine. An elevator is available. You can let the receptionist know that have arrived, and take a seat. Dr. Cherry will come out to meet you, and go through the check-in process inside her office.
Public transportation:
The Elkins Park office is a few blocks from the Elkins Park SEPTA station. From the station, cross High School Road and walk down Spring Street in the direction where it is sloping slightly down and to the left.
The Elkins Park office is also on the 55 bus line.
Changing to telemedicine:
If you find yourself unable to make it in the office for any reason, please call or text to (215) 422-3130 and we can change your appointment from an office to visit to a telemedicine visit.
Meet Our Staff
Our off-site staff can help you with scheduling, billing, and other administrative needs. They are glad to communicate by phone, text, or email. Jai, a medical receptionist, will assist with registration and scheduling-related questions. Angela, a medical coder and office assistant, will handle your insurance and billing-related questions.
